8 with GP 2016R2 (was updated to this with the Canadian payroll tax update/reset in December). Now, the server is running sql2014 version. but I checked that on the GP that's installed directly on the server with sql 2014 does have the correct directory structure and info in the dex.ini.
I've only found one obscure reference that said something about that if the dex.ini info for the letters and olenotes folders don't match the directory structure that it causes a delay when selecting the checkbook. Some of the checkbooks take less time (about 1min30 seconds to 2 mins.) I've actually timed from hitting select on the checkbook in the lookup listing to when it closes and populates the inquiry screen and the main operating account checkbook took almost 5 mins to close the lookup screen to showing data in the inquiry window.
We are having some issues with a significant delay when trying to select the checkbook ID from the lookup window when in the Checkbook Register Inquiry screen.
